Ascent For A Cure is a foundation dedicated to raising awareness and funding for Parkinson's Disease. The ultimate Ascent for A Cure will take place in the Spring of 2021 when founder, Adam Hodges of Meridian, Mississippi, will make the trek to summit Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain above sea level.

Adam Hodges, founder of AFAC, is the General Manager of Anderson Health and Fitness Center in Meridian, Mississippi, the only fitness center of its kind in the area. It offers a comprehensive, medically-integrated environment focused on total well being ranging from day-to-day health maintenance to weight loss programs and special medical and clinical programs. This includes the Rock Steady Boxing Program for patients living with Parkinson's Disease.

She has extensive brand management experience from working for the Walt Disney Company for 15 years, affiliate marketing at the Meridian Family of Stations and marketing agency work with a firm in California.
