ABOUT
Ascent For A Cure is a foundation dedicated to raising awareness and funding for Parkinson's Disease. This year, Ascent For A Cure founder, Adam Hodges of Meridian, Mississippi, attempted M Mount Everest, the world's highest mountain above sea level. Adam is the first Mississippian to attempt Everest and successfully reached 26,000 feet in the name of Parkinson's Disease.

Adam Hodges
Founder & Climber
Adam Hodges, founder of AFAC, is the General Manager of Anderson Health and Fitness Center in Meridian, Mississippi, the only fitness center of its kind in the area. It offers a comprehensive, medically-integrated environment focused on total well being ranging from day-to-day health maintenance to weight loss programs and special medical and clinical programs. This includes the Rock Steady Boxing Program for patients living with Parkinson's Disease.

Mandy Malone

Mandy Malone, originally from the Bay Area of California, has strong ties to Meridian, MS. She has extensive brand management experience from working for the Walt Disney Company for 15 years, affiliate marketing at the Meridian Family of Stations and marketing agency work with a firm in California. Mandy is proud to join AFAC in an effort to support a cause that affects so many.
